Cheddar Heirloom Tomato Pie 

Ingredients: – 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade) – 4-5 medium-sized heirloom tomatoes, sliced – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese – 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/4 cup mayonnaise – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped – Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. If using a store-bought pie crust, place it in a pie dish. If making your own crust, roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish, then crimp the edges.

In a small bowl, mix together the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, mayonnaise, chopped basil, salt, and pepper.

1. Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture onto the bottom of the pie crust. 2. Arrange the sliced heirloom tomatoes on top of the cheese mixture, overlapping them slightly.

Spread the remaining cheese mixture evenly over the tomatoes.

Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
